Our standard
We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, across the public site and THE HOUSE™.
What we build in
Semantic headings and landmarks; visible focus and keyboard operation for menus, forms, dialogs and the lesson player; text alternatives for meaningful images; color contrast chosen to meet level AA; layouts that reflow on phones and at 200 percent zoom; motion that respects your reduced-motion setting; and form errors that explain the fix.
Work in progress
Every lesson carries its full text beside the video, we are adding captions to lesson videos across the library, and we ask members to describe the images they upload. The interfaces of third-party AI tools are run by those companies.
